Thames Valley U45kg Rugby On Sunday my Rugby team played rugby in Wahi. We played Western Bay Of Plen ty. The first 20 minutes W.B.O.P scored their first try they went for our winger’s. They had the ball for the whole time for 20 minutes that is when they scored their first try of the game. W.B.O.P scored about four to five trys in the first half write at the end of the first half we final scored our first try of the game. They tried to kick it out then our center court the ball and got a runaway try. Then in the second half they only scored one try and so did we. Our center got another runaway but he passed it to me I did a little kip kick and then our number 8 court it and got a try.

All Blacks Bledisloe Cup The All Blacks have won the Bledisloe cup for the 14th time in a row after betting Australia 29-9 in Wellington. New Zealand led 15-9 at half-time with Israel Dagg scoring to trys. Then in the second half Juilen Savea and Sam Cane soon after scored a try also. The All Blacks have been so good at rugby at the last few year well done. ALL BLACKS

Today it is Daffodil Day and we had to dress up what we wanted to be when we are older. When I came to school today I dressed up as a All Black and I had my Thames Valley Jessie from rugby. There was a lot of people in different costumes like farmers and a lot of sport people like Rugby, Hockey, Fishing, Hunting, Cricket, Net ball, Soccer, BMX, Golf, Swimming and a lot of other sports. Our Teacher's weren't just Teacher's they are Super Teacher's they were dressed in capes and a lot of other things. 

The worlds longest and highest glass bridge has been made in China. This glass bridge is the world record it is the worlds longest glass bridge bottom.This bridge was completed in December the 340 metres bridge and stands 300 metres above the ground and cost 3.4 million dollars to build the bridge. The hole bridge has been made out of glass and it is 6 metres wide. It connects two mountains cliffs holding up the glass bridge.

Hamish Bond and Eric Murray have won gold at Rio Olympics. It is New Zealand's first gold at the O lympics this year 2016 at Rio Olympics. The men’s pair have won the men’s pair final which means that it is really good. Hamish and Eric sat in about third for the first 500 metres of the 2000 metres race but in the 1000 m mark they were a boat length away from the second guy.

New Zealand women's Sevens have won silver in rugby Rio Olympics 2016. New Zealand played Australia in the finals. New Zealand scored the first try in the game how ever Australia scored two quick trys one after another in return. Soon after one of the New Zealand got sin binned at the end of the first half.  Half time score:Australia 10 and New Zealand 5. Australia ran away with the the game and in three other trys. Final score Australia 24 New Zealand 17.

Shot put super star Valarie Adams wins silver at the Olympics 2016. Michelle Cater from USA won the final 20.63m throw witch it was to good for Valarie Adams. Michelle Cater blew away that she had got the gold medal this year. In Rio this year Valarie Adams throw was further than the last Olympics in 2012 in London so she is really happy with that.

This term we are reading Soldier Dog. We had to read up to 21 of August 1917. A greyhound dog that had puppies they named one Soldier. I think It is really sad that he through one of the puppies out of the window. I think Da will start to like the puppies at the end and he will want more of the puppies but the puppies will still hate him. I think that all of the puppies will try and hide from Da because he has been really really mean to them all.

Today my class spent some time doing walking around the class room and looking at things what we are courise about. Some of the thing were cool and some of them were not that cool. I did mine on Pirates and what Pirates did back then and how they lived. Some of my quietens were. How long did Pirates live for? What did Pirates drink and eat? Were did they get there big boats from? 

The Hurricanes have won the super 18 rugby final 2016. The score was 20-3 to the Lions had lost the Hurricanes had a big party at the pub after the game. It is the first time ever that they have won that competition after losing twice in the final. At half time the score was 10-3 to the Hurricanes. Cory Jane Hurricanes winger scored the only try in the first half. Hurricanes first five Beauden Barrett was the man of the match.  Beauden Barrett scored the last try in the game and got two conversions and two penalties. HURRICANES 20: C. Jane try, B. Dear Mr Police Officer Happy 2nd million birthday Mr Police Officer I wish you have a great Birthday. Mr Police Officer how do you get so old how much older do you think you will get. Do you eat something to stay alive for that long or do you just eat fruit. In your little postcard I have sent you a few stamps but why do you collect stamps and where do you keep them all. Gold medals at the Olympics for 2016 are not really. The medals will only way 500 grams at the Olympics. After they had made the medals they just dipped the medals in a little bit of gold they are only wroth about $600 dollars. For the first time the medals are slightly thicker.

The Hurricanes will play the Lions in the super rugby final. The Hurricanes proved strongly that they could bet the Chiefs in the Semi final and they did 25-9. The first-five for the Hurricanes Bauden Barrett was the star of the game scoring a full field run away try. The Hurricanes scored three tries to the Chiefs when the Chiefs got 3 penaltie kicks. The results mean that the Hurricanes will return back to Wellington next weekend for the finals. I think that the Hurricanes will win the finals because they have been playing so well for the last few weeks but the Lions have a pretty good chance that they might win. GO THE HURRICANES YOU CAN WIN.

This year in Marama I am doing book bash. The book we are reading for book bash is called Soldier Dog.  The members in my little group that I am reading with there names are Tawa, Laim, Finn, Jayden, Lennex, Navdeep, Callum C and I. I think what happens is that the dog is lost at war and one of the men at war have found a dog from a house that has been killed so then he makes it a soldier dog.
