Mason @ Ngatea Primary School

Diana Spencer was born in 1961. Her Dads name was John Spencer and her mothers name was Frances. When she finished school she became an early childhood teacher. When she was 20 years old in July of 1981 she married Prince Charles. Once she married Prince Charles she became Princess Diana. She had two children, Prince William born on June 21st 1982, and Prince Harry was born on September 15th 1984. She lived in the UK. Princess Diana loved to help people, especially children. That's why she was called the ''People's Princess''. She did lots of Charity work and fund raised lots of money, to help people who didn't have much. Like food, water, medicine, housing and clothing. Princess Diana died in a high speed car crash in a big tunnel in Paris/France on August 31st 1997.

This week for i Drive I did Lego. Tawa, Olly, Finn, Logan, Callum Lang and Hamish and I. We built a farm and we had two cows and one sheep. We had a lot of vehicles, two boats, tractor, harvester, plane,cattle truck and a snow Marvell. My biggest challenge was trying to find all the parts for the plane and the tractor. I liked doing lego this week.

Water soaks up the colours of the sun light like red and purple and reflects the colours like blue and green and that is why the water appears blue even when it is clear. When the water is dirty or has things like algae,  colours like red will reflect of the little bits of sand and dirt in the water to make a reddish colour.  Where the water is shallow and very clean the water appears clear as it is not deep enough for the light to reflect.

This week I done box modelling Tawa,Jett,Logan and I.We built two planes I made a airport.We found a tennis ball and named it Bob. He sits on the plane why it is flying.It took a 5 test and it worked on the 5th test.It was fun today because we had to fix it every time.
