On the weekend I played rugby we vs Mucuery Bay in Ngatea. In the first half in 15 minutes I scored a try and our full back scored a try we were winning at half time. In the second half the kicked of to us I court the ball and got another try I am the kicker I missed all my kick but I got one. Then they kicked of again and I court it and got another try. Three of my trys I got half a field and the other three were full field trys. The last try I got was really cool because I was in our 22 but then we had a scram and ran down the side line and scored. I scored 6 trys that day It was a good game. This year I have scored 20 trys. All of the arrows are were I scored my trys from.

My First Deer

One weekend we got up and went to Rotorua for a day of hunting. So when we got down there my cousin wanted to shoot his first deer so we found a mob of deer and we gave him my dads gun and I had his gun. There were two stags at the bottom of the gully playing in a slip. So he got down there and missed both of the deer and 8 Hinds ran out from the other side of the bush and stopped in another gully I had the 223 it is a small gun but it’s range is only 200 to 220 meters but I shot my deer from 300 meters. Dad was videoing me because he thought that I was going to miss the deer and run away. When I looked through the scoop I  was really nervous so when I got the deer on the cross I pulled the trigger. It was right on dark when we got down to the deer so we could not carry it out because we had to go through a creek then a river then through the trees. When I shot the deer I was so happy that I shoot it. Just seeing it roll down the hill was pretty cool.

Who will you speak to? Anybody. What will help you solve your problem? Talking to the teacher. How will you be an effective team member in your car group, activity group and cabin group? Hunting in Rotorua

On a late afternoon we went down to  Rotorua to go for a hunt. We got to the farm. There was a gully with bush in it. We were sitting down on the grass waiting for a deer or pig to jump out. I thought I could see something white moving in the grass. Dad walked over to see what it was  it was a bit of plastic moving around in the grass.  Dad just unloaded his  gun. Two deer jumped out of the grass dad could nearly touch them. It was pretty cool seeing them jumping over the fence. They ran up the side of the hill. We went to the top of the hill so we could see everything.It was a pretty big hill then we did't know were they went. Just then we herd a branch brake we saw the two deer dad took the shot right where he wanted it to go. It dropped him it was hard to carry it out.It was a big fallow hine. I liked this hunt because I liked finding it in the blackberry bush.
